Project Planner
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our team at Leap29, working on renewable energy projects in Ireland. This role will be based in the Cork region and involve interaction with government bodies such as An Bord Pleanála for planning permission.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure timely completion of renewable energy projects.
* Planning Applications: Prepare and submit planning applications to relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to project teams.
* Planning Law: Stay up-to-date with changes in planning law and regulations, providing expert advice to project teams.
* EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment): Conduct EIA studies to assess potential environmental impacts of renewable energy projects.
* Programme Management: Utilize P6 and MS Project software to manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
* Project Management Support: Provide support to project managers, including development of project plans, resource allocation, and risk management.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues early, and develop strategies to mitigate or escalate them as necessary.
* Business Development: Support business development activities, including tendering and business networking.
* SHEQ Management: Collaborate with the SHEQ Manager to ensure adherence to safety, health, environment, and quality standards.
* Workload Planning: Schedule workload, equipment, and resources to optimize project delivery.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Degree qualification in a relevant field, such as project planning, town planning, or scheduling.
* Experience: Previous experience with solar and wind energy planning processes in Ireland.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work flexibly when required and travel as needed.
