Teamworx are delighted to announce this wonderful new opportunity for an experienced Head of People & Culture based in our clients busy head office in County Laois.The Head of People & Culture will provide leadership and strategic direction on all aspects of human resource development with the aim of creating an employee-oriented high performance culture emphasising quality, productivity, goal attainment and empowerment. The candidate will be responsible for the development of processes and reporting metrics that support the achievement of the Company’s business goals as well as acting as talent expert across the Company & Omni-channel Business. Reporting directly to the CEO, and working closely with colleagues to ensure all HR duties are undertaken in accordance with employment law, company policy and ensuring any risk to the business is minimised.

As a member of the Leadership Team, the Head of People & Culture must have:
A proven track record of leading the delivery of HR functions to a high standard.
A proven track record as a HR Manager.
Demonstrable experience of change management.
Up to date knowledge of employment law.
The ability to originate and lead organisational strategies in HR. Experience in developing HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
Essential Experience
Experience in talent management, succession planning and development, writing and delivering training programmes appropriate to the needs of employees and the business.
Bachelor’s degree in business, H.R. or related area.
Minimum 5 years relevant and related HR work experience (ideally retail, hospitality or related field).
CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
Coaching Qualification desirable.
