OVERVIEW:
The Corporate Services Department provides a range of legal, regulatory, communications and governance services in support of Tuath Housing Association's (the Association) business objectives.
The Communications and Policy team is responsible for communicating the Association's vision and activities to our audiences and stakeholders, both internal and external.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Communications and Policy Administrator will contribute to improving overall Association performance in relation to communications, policies and projects.
THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE WILL:
Coordinate content for the Association's social media channels and website.
Engage in daily media monitoring.
Coordinate content for internal communications channels to support employee engagement strategies.
Support the execution of external communications projects, including publications and reports, public relations campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Support the planning and coordination of Tuath events and, where appropriate, attend external events on behalf of the organisation.
Liaise with colleague and external partners and suppliers to manage bookings and orders.
Engage with key stakeholders including senior management and members of the board.
Monitor communications activity and maintain team records, reports, spreadsheets and charts.
Assist with general administrative duties within the organisation as required, including typing, copying, filing, etc.
Engage in training as required and fulfil any other duties that are consistent with the role.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least one years' experience in a busy office role.
Hold a Certificate/Diploma or equal educational qualification and excellent skills in Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent written English and a keen eye for detail.
An interest in media, communications and public affairs.
Experience with communications tools and familiarity with communications channels highly advantageous.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Commitment to working in a solution-oriented manner.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time.
