Your Role:
As an Automation Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for both the design and implementation of solutions using the bank’s automation technology stack, including RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and workflow automation (IBM Business Automation Workflow). This involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to implementation, testing and deployment. This service must meet business requirements while adhering to the bank’s security standards and risk management criteria.
Your Team:
The Operational Transformation team designs, delivers, and operates digital solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs and risks across the organisation. You will be joining a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about building solutions using technology and modern methodologies.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Stakeholder Management
* Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to identify opportunities for technical solutions and process improvement.
* Act as an internal evangelist for Automation and be responsible for getting stakeholder buy-in for initiatives.
* Work closely with relevant IT forums to ensure external stakeholders are aware of the status and development of the automation strategy.
* Drive a greater understanding of the roles and services provided by the capability through product demonstrations and workshops.
* Manage robotics adoption and influence business stakeholders and IT.
* Control factors such as license utilisation and security policies for technical solutions.
1. Development
* Provide architectural control over solution designs to ensure consistency across delivery teams.
* Manage milestones and timeliness to deliver high-quality solutions in accordance with the agreed software development lifecycle (SDLC).
* Research new technologies, organise proof of concept (POC), and manage supplier relationships.
* Collect information from operational teams and report to Senior Management.
* Support existing processes and implement changes as part of a structured change control process.
* Conduct design walkthrough sessions with stakeholders and IT representatives.
2. Deliveries and Methodology
* Work efficiently to turnaround business requirements and management requests.
* Support the adoption and development of the Digital Transformation Framework.
* Develop clear strategies for the Automation Journey.
Requirements:
Essential
* 4+ years’ experience working with RPA OR 5+ years of programming experience (.NET, Java etc.).
* Previous team lead or manager experience.
* Ability to define project scope, create realistic timelines, manage resources, and track progress.
* Proven experience in operational management with a focus on process automation.
* Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
* Blue prism Basic Foundation OR training in leading RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath).
* Bachelor of Information Technology (IT) OR related field.
* Excellent SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server or Teradata.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Understanding of process design and technical design documents in the RPA space.
Desired
* Knowledge and experience in Data Analytics.
* Proven experience designing and delivering solutions using IBM Business Automation Workflow.
* Ability to work to timelines and enjoy steep learning curves.
* Experience in Agile methodologies.
* Capacity to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real-world delivery.
