As TWM Waste Operative (WO), you'll be a member of Indaver's Total Waste Management Team based on the MSD Clonmel site.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Handle the in-house pick-up of diverse waste (packaged and bulk waste) at the site and bring this to a central location.
2. Carry out loading and unloading activities.
3. Treat the waste so that it can be further transported to the processing facility: sorting, packing, bulking, repackaging.
4. Manage the identification and storage of the waste at the stocking location foreseen for this purpose, in accordance with the prevailing regulations.
5. Prepare waste so that it can be safely and properly loaded for transport.
6. Responsible for the planning and registration of waste removal such that the processing takes place according to agreements with the customer.
7. Handle the administration such that the transport can take place properly and on time.
8. Comply with safety procedures and instructions in order to ensure a safe workplace for all.
9. Keep the workplace orderly & neat so that work can be done safely.
Experience Required
1. Leaving cert or equivalent
2. 1-2 years experience in waste management or relevant.
3. Forklift license required
4. Computer skills required
5. Be able to work well on your own or as part of a team
6. Strong team player; attention to detail is important
7. Good communication skills
