Windows Server Infrastructure Architect
We are seeking a highly experienced Windows Server Engineer/Architect to assist with the architecture review, design, implementation and management of Windows Server OS security hardening.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the architecture review, design, implementation and management of Windows Server OS security hardening.
* Provide SME level Windows Server support and administration for AD, File Services, DFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Windows Clustering, Certificate authorities, etc.
* Lifecycle management of Windows Servers including provisioning, de-provisioning and enforcement of configuration management (virtual and physical server infrastructure).
* Assist with the design, implementation and management of automation activities within the Windows Server perimeter.
Automation Activities:
* Windows Server deployment/deprovisioning automation.
* Identity management automation.
* Reporting.
Enhancements:
* Review, recommend and implement enhancements that will reduce BAU effort, improve performance, reliability and security within the Windows Server perimeter.
* Windows Server patch management.
* Windows Server Anti Virus protection system.
* Vulnerability management.
* Compliance reporting.
* Automation of common BAU activities.
* Enhance the automation and reporting quality of daily checks.
O365 Tenant Management:
* Assist with O365 tenant management, identity security, reporting, licensing and BAU automation.
Monitoring Implementation:
* Assist with an architectural review of the monitoring implementation within the Windows Server & VMWare perimeter.
* Review, propose and implement changes to improve the monitoring capabilities.
Liaison and Communication:
* Liaise with IT teams, business teams and vendors with regards to Windows Server system implementation, high availability, back-up, monitoring.
Requirements:
* 15+ years experience as a Windows Server Engineer/Architect.
* Skills: Windows Active Directory, SCCM, On Prem VMware Server.
