We are looking for a Business Analyst to join in the on-going scoping and translation of business needs for exciting new capability within the financial services and card payments industry.
The desired person will be an experienced Business Analyst with a strong track record of engaging with key stakeholders during a requirements/ design project phase.
You will produce functional design documents and work with colleagues to produce time expectations/quotations where required.
You will conduct requirements gathering workshops and develop comprehensive specifications based on those requirements for the relevant teams.
This a technical Business Analyst role and you will have past experience of producing detailed technical specifications and have the ability to understand the bigger picture in terms of the overall solution for the customer including both their present and potential future requirements.
Job Description The ability to get a deep understanding of the business requirements and objectives and translate them in to detailed user journeys, stories, epics, process flows and solution designs Be responsible for creating the documentation that will ultimately be the working guides used to build the solution Support the internal stakeholders to understand the requirements acting as the bridge between the requirement and the development/production and technical implementation Play a key role in internal workshops to flush out requirements and propose ideas (in time) based on your experience and knowledge of the capabilities of the business and its intellectual property to improve the customer and end user experience Ability to not only identify the internal requirements but make further suggestions to broaden the potential and scope of the project Be the contact point throughout the scoping process leading the engagement whilst the requirements are being identified and supervise the delivery of the project to ensure it matches the agreed design and requirements Be responsible for leading not only the initial project phase but subsequent requirements as they are identified as the project progresses Implement best practice procedures as well as tools and techniques of business analysis A knowledge of solutions used to manage customer sign-up/boarding and management would be hugely beneficial as well as experience working with large and often complex systems A well-structured, procedure and process driven individual that is able to plan and manage their time and projects effectively Qualifications Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the FinTech or financial services industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a software development environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
