The Position
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant with a strong financial background to join our leading international firm and specifically our award-winning Financial Accounting and Outsourcing Services Division.
About The Role
This role will involve working with a diverse range of clients across various industries, assisting with all aspects of their accounting lifecycle.
This includes preparing management accounts, VAT returns, statutory financial statements, complete reconciliations, and leading bookkeeping projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring adherence to client and filing deadlines through planning, scheduling and overseeing individual client projects
* Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
* Preparing management accounts, VAT returns, statutory financial statements, complete reconciliations, and leading bookkeeping projects
* Oversight of billing and fees including budgeting and the timely preparation of invoices
* Driving high-quality service delivery within expected timeframes and on budget
* Bringing technical expertise and a strong knowledge and application of various accounting standards
* Ensuring appropriate maintenance of financial information for a broad range of clients using various accounting software packages
* Liaising with various external stakeholders providing support as required
Requirements
* Qualified ACA/ACCA
* Experienced senior accounts assistant/accountant in a professional services or industry environment (2+ years)
* Ambitious individual with a desire to deliver strong client services and grow and develop a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with a willingness to learn new systems
* Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to manage multiple engagements
* Excellent time management skills with an ability to work effectively to deadlines
