Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Engineer / Insite Manager to join our team at {company}, a multinational company based in County Roscommon.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and optimise the supply chain to drive efficiency and cost savings.
* Plan and manage material purchases, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
* Source and procure materials, subcontract services, and manage supplier relationships.
* Administer all relevant processes, including purchase orders, subcontract operations, sales orders, receipting, invoicing, stock adjustments, and more.
* Liaise with suppliers, visit facilities as needed, and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
* Process customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* A recognised qualification in a related discipline.
* Strong negotiation, IT, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and complex financial spreadsheets.
* Experience with material planning and contract management using an ERP system.
Compensation:
The salary for this role is open to negotiation, depending on experience, and ranges from €45,000 to €50,000 per annum. Additionally, the successful candidate will receive a package including a company vehicle, yearly bonus, medical insurance, and life insurance.
