Responsibilities:
* Working with the team to ensure that they efficiently run the pastry section;
* Ensuring compliance to and consistently delivering product to the agreed standard and within the agreed timeframe;
* Have a passion and flair for food, and pastry in particular;
* Ensure compliance to and document in accordance with HACCP and Food Safety Regulations;
* Work varying shifts and up to 5 days per week in the busy Kitchen department;
* Liaise and communicate with colleagues;
* To work with the team to ensure that the designated area is properly prepared, set up, and cleaned down, prior to and after service;
* Product and employee development;
* Ensure a professional, friendly, and courteous service.
Minimum Requirements:
* 3 years' experience within the industry, in operations with Banqueting and Fine Dining with a proven track record of experience;
* Good knowledge of HACCP;
* Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills;
* Own transport advantageous.
