Front Office Manager – Maldron Hotel South Mall
We have a fantastic new vacancy for Front Office Manager in the excellent Maldron Hotel South Mall.
The Maldron Hotel South Mall Cork is ideally located overlooking the River Lee and in the heart of the city. The Hotel opened in December 2018, with 163 bedrooms, a Grain & Grill Restaurant, Hotel Bar, The Red Bean Roastery coffee shop and 6 meeting rooms.

Objective of the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Front Office Manager will lead the experiences of our guests at check-in, check-out, and during their stay.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure the guests' experiences are of the highest quality.
2. Lead the team to achieve goals in relation to mystery audits, customer comment index, quality evaluations, and hotel standards.
3. Lead and develop the Front Office team, making sure that they are prepared for the next step in their career.
4. Assist in efficiently and effectively controlling front office departmental operations.
5. Contribute to the strategic running of the hotel.
Requirements:
1. 2-3 years experience in a Front Office leadership role.
2. Excellent skills in people leadership and development.
3. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee & delegate work to others.
4. A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
5. The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team.
