As a Senior Test Systems Engineer, you will be at the heart of cutting-edge projects, developing advanced test systems for autonomous and next-generation electric propulsion technologies. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to work on state-of-the-art software and hardware integration within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Test System Development: Design, develop, and implement advanced test systems and methodologies to support electrification and autonomous vehicle technologies, ensuring the highest quality and performance standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to define, document, and analyse test requirements. Drive alignment across engineering disciplines to deliver robust and efficient testing environments.Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Take on leadership responsibilities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.Testing and Validation: Conduct comprehensive testing activities, including prototype vehicle validation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting product quality improvements.Documentation and Reporting: Develop detailed records of testing processes, system architectures, results, and recommendations to inform product and design enhancements.WHAT YOU'LL NEED A minimum of 6 years' experience developing advanced test systems, with expertise in MIL/SIL/HIL environments.Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and familiarity with dSPACE tools and automated testing frameworks.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with experience in software and hardware integration testing.Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), V-Model, and Agile methodologies.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead small teams and collaborate effectively across disciplines.THE BENEFITS This role is rewarding in more ways than one.
