Job Purpose:
The Patient Liaison Officer will work with the current team to expand and support the development of the Patient Feedback and Complaints process within the Mater Hospital. Given the publication of the overarching HSE Patient Safety Strategy 2019-2024, the National Inpatient Experience Survey and the Patient Safety Act 2023, there is increased focus on building real and meaningful partnerships between patients and those working in healthcare. Person-centred care will generate a more compassionate healthcare system that responds to our patients, learns from when things go wrong and seeks to improve the patient experience while placing the patient voice at the heart of the process.
