Job Description:
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to provide technical support in an EHS and quality compliant manner for all aspects of Utilities plant and equipment at our client's facility in Co. Waterford. This requires involvement in planned work such as regular inspection, scheduled work such as one-off tasks identified through the work order systems, and finally breakdown tasks.

Scope of Accountability:
1. Completion of planned maintenance on a scheduled weekly basis.
2. Completion of scheduled work-orders on a scheduled weekly basis.
3. Immediate response to any unplanned adverse event such as breakdowns, BMS alarms, fire alarms, etc. (including out of hours on call as per 4-week rota).
4. Management of any contractors onsite ensuring all permit and method statement requirements are fulfilled.
5. Stakeholder management to ensure clear open communications of any issues onsite.
6. Ensure near misses are reported and escalated as appropriate.
7. Ensure all contractors onsite are managed through relevant permit systems.
8. Ensure all Utilities areas and systems are maintained in a safe manner.
9. Ensure all activities undertaken are risk assessed prior to starting and managed appropriately.
10. Ensure all Utilities systems are maintained in an EHS compliant manner.
11. Ensure acceptable level of housekeeping is maintained at all times.
12. Ensure all quality issues are reported and escalated appropriately.
13. Ensure all Utilities and systems are maintained in a GMP compliant manner.
14. Ensure all documentation is completed on schedule in a GMP compliant manner.
Other Job-Related Skills/Background:
1. Understands the GMP requirements for operation and maintenance of critical systems.
2. Understands the operation and safety requirements of all mechanical and electrical systems to be maintained on-site.
3. Good understanding and appreciation of energy management and energy waste factors.
4. General understanding of the basic operation and safety requirements of hydraulic and pneumatic/instrument systems.
5. Understands their responsibilities in the Maintenance Plan programme.
6. Understands all essential policies (and relevant SOPs) in relation to site safety, environment, security, change control process, and GMP/work permit systems.
Educational Background:
Time served/Qualified fitter/qualified electrician or E&I (fitter/electrician/Electrical Instrumentation).
