Overview
The SAP Basis & DBA Specialist reports to the IT Transformation Manager and is responsible for managing and maintaining the organisation's SAP Landscape, SAP Basis capability and Oracle services. This role requires close collaboration with other teams to ensure the platform is secure, performs well, and is always available.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain the organization's SAP Landscape as a member of the SAP Basis/DBA team.
* Collaborate with other teams to identify requirements for the SAP Landscape and prioritize development efforts.
* Track and report on SLA adherence of the managed service provider for SAP Landscape.
Technical Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 3-5 years' experience as an SAP Basis administrator or DBA.
* Oracle experience with familiarity of database design and upgrades, coding and performance tuning.
* Familiarity with data backup and recovery methodologies and disaster recovery planning for SAP environments.
* Experience in monitoring and optimizing the performance of SAP systems.
