Job Title: Assistant Revenue and Reservations Manager
About the Role:
This is a dynamic opportunity to join a leading hotel as an Assistant Revenue and Reservations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing reservations, and overseeing daily operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead Operations: Oversee the daily operation of the reservations office, managing accommodation and restaurant reservations while supporting other departments.
* Drive Revenue: Achieve accommodation and total revenue targets, tracking and converting enquiries into sales.
* Handle Enquiries: Manage the enquiry handling system from initial contact to contract handover, ensuring professional and timely responses.
* Maximize Sales: Ensure all up-selling opportunities are exploited and dining/spa bookings are confirmed for guests.
* Collaborate: Work with the sales department to generate new business leads and deliver client agreements.
* Manage Team: Produce departmental rotas, approve holidays, arrange training, and ensure all tasks are completed daily.
Requirements:
* Proactive Leader: Driven to meet and exceed targets, with 3-5 years of experience in reservations and/or yield management in the hotel sector in Ireland.
* Outgoing Personality: Able to build strong relationships with team members, heads of departments, and clients.
* Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with excellent time management and organization abilities.
* Candidate Profile: Customer-Focused, Self-Motivated, Flexible and Fluent in English.
