Remuneration Specialist - Cork - Hays Specialist Recruitment
A challenging opportunity for a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join a rapidly growing commercial semi-state organisation in Cork City.
JOB SUMMARY:
* Process payroll accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Reconcile data from MyWork to CorePay on a fortnightly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Manage queries from various stakeholders, including Management, HR/ ER/ C&B, Staff, Pensioners, and external bodies like Revenue and Social Welfare.
* Provide reports relating to payroll and expenses for cashflow forecasting of payments, supporting business decisions with accurate data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Process payroll transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Reconcile data from MyWork to CorePay on a fortnightly basis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Manage queries from various stakeholders, including Management, HR/ ER/ C&B, Staff, Pensioners, and external bodies like Revenue and Social Welfare.
* Provide reports relating to payroll and expenses for cashflow forecasting of payments, supporting business decisions with accurate data.
* Staying up-to-date with changing payroll laws, regulations, and industry best practices, advising the business on potential impacts and implications.
* Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and agreements that ensure competitive pricing and service delivery.
* Communicate payroll information and changes to employees, managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity.
* Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement payroll communications, promoting awareness and engagement among employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll administration, with a strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
* Desirable experience with Oracle & Core HR Systems, showcasing technical expertise and ability to integrate with existing systems.
* Experience working in a business / transactional services environment an advantage, highlighting adaptability and versatility in a dynamic context.
* Detailed knowledge and application of payroll laws and regulations, including Revenue rules/ legislation and Social Welfare legislation.
* Ability to communicate complex payroll concepts and data to non-technical stakeholders, using clear and concise language.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret payroll data and identify trends and patterns.
* Proven project management skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with employees, managers, and external partners.
* Audit and review skills, with ability to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
