Patient Catering Supervisor-35 hour contract-Salary in line with Catering Officer grade III Key Responsibilities To organise, supervise and control the meal / beverage service to the patients and visitors in Patient Catering.
To ensure that the service is of the highest quality standard. To supervise the work in the food service areas maintaining the agreed standards of hygiene and safety, in accordance with legislation and hospital Standards.To show decisive leadership and maintain good working relationship with all staff and all other departments.
Essential Criteria Recognised Catering Qualification (Minimum Level 6 FETAC) Fully HACCP trained A minimum of three years' experience in Staff Supervision/Management/Hospitality Management. Interest and knowledge of Food & Patient Service. Team Player - Being able to work independently and as part of a team. Have proven ability in the managing a large a team. Excellent Communication/Interpersonal skills Excellent customer service skills in a Hospitality/ Food service setting. IT skills., high proficiency in all Microsoft office applications. Financial-Have knowledge of managing budgets. Fluency in spoken and written English essential.
