Business Development Account Manager
Cork & East Coast
We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team at a strong established packaging company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for new sales development and existing sales development within the designated territory.
Territory: Cork, east coast as far as Dublin.
Salary: Circa €60,000 all-inclusive plus excellent commission, benefits and car or car allowance.
The Role:
* Develop maximum sales potential through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the company's products and services, as well as the competition's strengths/weaknesses.
* BUILD AND MAINTAIN PROFESSIONAL AND ETHICAL RELATIONS WITH CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVES AND INTERNAL EMPLOYEES TO INCREASE ACCOUNT BASE, SALES VOLUME, AND OVERALL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
* Maintain contact with customers as needed to meet and surpass sales and profitability goals for the company.
* Identify opportunities within existing accounts to increase overall market share and improve profit margins.
* Evaluate current products and services in comparison to the market and recommend strategic opportunities to increase sales and profit.
* Develop proposals to efficiently satisfy customer requirements by aligning existing capabilities with customer needs.
* Act as liaison between established customer representatives and internal support departments such as Engineering, Customer Service, Accounting, Management, and Manufacturing to ensure customer satisfaction and adhere to established standards.
* Stay current on market conditions, product trends, new materials, and manufacturing techniques through available resources.
* Entertain customers as required.
* Assist onsite with new account transitions.
* Read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings.
* Understand technical packaging concepts.
* Travel between office and customer as needed.
