Job Description:
We are seeking an ambitious Desktop Administrator to join our global IT team.
The core objective of this role is to contribute to our growth by assisting in the provisioning of world-class IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain and support desktop systems based on requests and company procedures
* Provide application support to staff
* Maintain inventory management of software and hardware components
* Maintain antivirus, encryption and other system management software
* Administer VOIP phone systems, and mobile phone allocations, renewals and repairs
* Maintain and upgrade shared office hardware (meeting room equipment, displays)
* Identify and escalate measures for failure analysis, preventative maintenance and process improvement
* Plan and execute allocated work with deadlines, and maintain a record of daily tasks
* Identify areas of staff training required and inform the training department
* Create and maintain documentation, for knowledge sharing with other staff
Requirements:
* A relevant IT qualification
* 1+ years of experience in a similar role
* Hands-on experience in installing & troubleshooting hardware issues for laptops, desktops and peripherals
* BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF ENTERPRISE LAN, WI-FI, AND VPN CONNECTIVITY CONFERENCE ROOM A/V EQUIPMENT, VOIP PHONE CONFIGURATION & TROUBLESHOOTING EXPERIENCE INSTALLING & TROUBLESHOOTING WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE WITH ENDPOINT PROTECTION AND MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE EXCELLENT ANALYSIS, PLANNING, ORGANISATION, PRIORITISATION AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS A CONSCIENTIOUS APPROACH TO WORK, ASSUMING PERSONAL OWNERSHIP OF RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS STRONG TEAM PLAYER, KEEN ON CONTRIBUTING TO & IMPROVING THE TEAM
