Position Overview
This role is a key part of the Process Quality Assurance (PQA) Team in Coca-Cola Ballina, focusing on monitoring and assessment of the plants' Quality and Food Safety management systems to raise compliance standards.
The successful candidate will ensure Quality Assurance is integrated into all key processes through training, validation, and risk assessment of systems, equipment, and processes. This involves close collaboration with stakeholders to achieve required certifications and standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* SUPPORT THE ACHIEVEMENT OF RELEVANT CERTIFICATIONS, INCLUDING ISO 9001:2015 AND 22000
* IMPLEMENT, ASSESS, AND IMPROVE QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
* SUPPORT KEY STAKEHOLDERS IN ENHANCING THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE OF QA PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES
* PROMOTE FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY FROM AN OPERATIONAL PERSPECTIVE
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* DIPLOMA OR DEGREE IN A SCIENCE OR ENGINEERING DISCIPLINE REQUIRED
* MINIMUM 3 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN QUALITY PROCESS/PROGRAM IN THE FOOD/BEVERAGE INDUSTRY REQUIRED
* SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE IN QUALITY PRACTICE AND STANDARDS
* GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF GMP, HYGIENE, AND FOOD SAFETY REQUIREMENTS (HACCP)
* FURTHER DESIRABLE: FOOD TECHNOLOGY/CHEMICAL/MICROBIOLOGICAL/ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
* ANALYTICAL APPROACH WITH GOOD PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
* COMPUTER LITERACY (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT, SAP)
* FURTHER DESIRABLE: FOOD SAFETY / QUALITY / MANAGEMENT SYSTEM KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
* EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS
