The Role & Responsibilities
This is an Audit Manager role, which may also consider candidates for Assistant Manager or Senior Manager grades, depending on experience.
* Manage client portfolio
* Develop and manage client relationships, acting as the main point of contact during engagements
* Coordinate staff and lead your own teams
* Assist clients and more junior staff on technical auditing and accounting issues
* Liaise with and report directly to a partner or director
* Manage the financial performance of your team
* Mentor, train, and manage more junior staff
Requirements
This role is suitable for someone who is currently a manager or a very experienced Assistant Manager, with a strong background in mid-top tier audit environments.
* ACCA/CA/other equivalent qualification with at least 3 years of experience post-qualification
* Strong technical skills, including knowledge of IFRS, ISAs, and relevant FRS
* Significant experience working with FS clientele (funds, leasing, banking, etc.)
* Excellent leadership and management skills
* Understanding of the operational side of leading an audit team
* Excellent written and verbal English, with strong communication skills
