Flexsource is currently recruiting experienced Welders for a client in Dublin Port.
The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing shipping containers and general maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Melt lead bar, wire, or scrap to add lead to joints or extrude melted scrap into reusable form
* Install or repair equipment such as lead pipes, valves, floors, and tank linings
* Remove rough spots from work pieces using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers
* Heat, form, and dress metal parts using hand tools, torches, or arc welding equipment
* Assist with handling containers according to customer requirements
* Operate equipment, plant, and machinery including forklifts and empty handlers
* Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and work areas
* Support the repairs team with daily workload
* Assist in maintaining company vehicles and equipment
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Welder qualification
* Able to read engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
* Forklift license is advantageous
Working Hours:
* 07.00 - 18.00
* Monday - Friday
* Four days out of five
Rates of Pay:
* €19 - €21 (dependent on experience)
