Job Description:
The Contracts Manager will oversee and manage the contractual aspects of both the hotel and apartment projects in Dublin City Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
* E nsure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to completion, including amendments and close-out.
Project Oversight:
* Coordinate with project managers to ensure contract terms are being adhered to.
* Monitor project progress, addressing any contractual issues that arise.
* Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and final project completion.
Financial Management:
* Manage project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place.
* Review and approve invoices and payment applications.
* Conduct financial forecasting and reporting.
Risk Management:
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Ensure all insurance and bonding requirements are in place.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.
Skills: Strong understanding of contract law and construction regulations in Ireland. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
