A great opportunity has opened for a Legal Secretary to work in a small but busy and fast-paced law firm.
You will be based in the conveyancing department working closely with a team.
You will work as part of a team and cover a range of diverse tasks that will include:
Open & close files in line with firm procedures.
Save and store documents electronically in the firm's practice management system.
Attend to electronic and hard copy filing accurately and on a daily basis.
Produce high-quality documentation from firm templates, precedents, or create from blank as instructed to include, but not limited to, correspondence and email correspondence.
Dictation and general typing.
Take accurate messages and manage all routine non-legal enquiries.
General office support as required regarding photocopying, printing, and binding of documents.
Ability to be part of a team but work on your own initiative.
Able to learn and take on extra tasks as required.
Be highly organized and professional.
Have acute attention to detail.
Punctual with a good attendance record.
Able to take direction and complete tasks promptly.
Experience required:
Candidates should ideally have experience in a Conveyancing office.
Have knowledge of Word/Excel.
Experience of case file management systems is ideal but not essential.
