ICT & IM Manager (Grade VII) Permanent Contract 35 hours per week Newbridge, Co. Kildare base with hybrid working GRADE VII (CLERICAL) Salary Scale: €58,254 to max €70,654 annually The Information & Communications Technology (ICT) and Information Management (IM) Manager will oversee and manage the organisations IT infrastructure and technology operations. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining information systems and technology strategies to support the organisations goals. The Manager will ensure the efficient functioning of the IT department, manage a team of IT professionals, and collaborate with various departments to meet the organisations technology needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership qualities, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Support the organisation to analyse its information needs, propose solutions and the development and implementation of new systems as well as in the ongoing development of existing systems Support the identification and development of information management systems for classifying, collating and storing hardcopy and electronic information Develop and implement policies and processes for the Information Management and Information and Communication Technology Oversee the ICT systems and manage the ICT staff Ensure effective disaster recovery plans are in place all sites are adequately equipped to maximise the use of available ICT resources. Manage the ICT Budget of the organisation and identify possible other sources of resources to finance the ICT and IM needs of the organisation. Develop andimplement an ICT & IM Strategic Plan Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management or a similar role. Strong technical knowledge of network administration, system security, and IT infrastructure. Experience with cloud computing, data storage, and software management. Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and best practices for IT security and data protection.
