DescriptionBDO Ireland has an opening for an Assistant Manager position in BDO Ireland's Corporate Secretarial Division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the department's Managers and Partner.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Corporate Secretarial Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient delivery of corporate services and compliance support to our clients.
You will become a valuable member of our highly regarded and dynamic Corporate Secretarial team, where you will play a pivotal role in a diverse range of thrilling projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Compliance Management: Prepare and file annual returns with the Companies Registration Office.Assist clients with compliance under beneficial ownership regulations.File documentation for company incorporations and name change applications.Ensure adherence to statutory/regulatory requirements and filing deadlines.Client Service Excellence: Maintain highest standards of quality and client service.Provide support on compliance and technical matters.Address client queries and onboard new clients.Corporate Governance Support: Ensure compliance with Companies Act 2014 and governance requirements.Coordinate and document board/committee meetings.Maintain statutory books and records for Irish entities.Document Management and Filing: Arrange document execution, notarisations, and filings.Manage day-to-day corporate governance queries.Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments to provide solutions to client challenges.Comprehensive Client Services: Offer a range of services from entity incorporation to ongoing operations and winding down.Specialized Project Involvement: Work on specialized projects requiring Independent Secretarial services.Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with internal and external clients. Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseThird-level qualification in a related area and a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in a business environment.Highly organized with excellent time management skills.ICSA qualified with a focus on task administration and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Blueprint software or similar.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and ambition.Focus on client delivery with the ability to interact credibly at a senior level.Proficient in supervising, reviewing work, and delegating tasks to ensure efficient client service.Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing multiple clients, and working resiliently to meet tight deadlines.
