Catalyx is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team on an initial 12-month contract and work on our customer site in Limerick. The Role:This role will primarily focus on developing, writing, and formally releasing technical documentation and procedures in alignment with internal document control systems and templates. The successful candidate will ensure that all documentation adheres to established standards, supporting consistency and clarity across the organisation. Responsibilities:Develop, write, and formally release technical documents, including operational procedures, user guides, and process documentation, in accordance with internal templates and guidelines.Ensure all documents are maintained, reviewed, and updated within the organisation's document control system.Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across engineering, quality, and operations teams to gather information and translate technical details into clear, user-friendly content.Ensure all documentation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements, supporting both internal and external stakeholders.Regularly review and refine existing documentation to improve readability, accuracy, and usability. Requirements:Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment.Proficiency with document control systems and familiarity with maintaining standardised templates.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly language.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, or similar software.
