We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Occupational Health in a Private Hospital in Limerick, Ireland.
37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Manage and lead Occupational Health practices, policies, and procedures in line with legislation, best practice and Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work Act.
* Administration of personnel referrals, pre-employment, and vaccination and immunisation programs.
* Co-ordinate and manage other various Nurse led Programmes including bloods, maintenance of records for all staff.
* Advise on and administer immunisation programmes.
* Conduct assessments on staff post incident.
* Provide emergency assessment and initial treatment/first aid of employees’ injury or illness and make referrals to outside services where required.
* Audit operational processes to the standards of best practice in order to optimise use of resources and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Requirements
* Enrolment in the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland's (NMBI) General Division Nurse Register.
* Relevant to the specialised field of occupational health, the Level 8 Award.
* Two years or more of occupational health experience, ideally in a hospital setting.
* Shown dedication to the welfare, health, and safety of employees.
* Outstanding administrative, IT, communication, and organising abilities.
