Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join a growing team for a 6-month fixed term contract. The role will report into the Senior Manager Data Integrity & Product and will build a strong relationship with Governance & Assurance. Involvement in new developmental activities across new portfolio boardings & initiatives. The Product gatekeeper / SME / Approval for the organization's Product initiatives & developments. The role will also be accountable for onboarding activities in relation to other new portfolios outside the standard Mars Capital business model and will act as owner for new developments.
What You Will Do
* Review and approval of all Forbearance Product Options with the Mars Capital Senior Leadership Team (SLT) & Excom at the relevant forum in line with Terms of Reference.
* Leadership of Mars Capital and Tasman General Rate Change processes including the facilitation of the Rate Change Forum process with support from current rate change team and Tasman supporting role.
* Support portfolio Remediation initiatives in line with the current Remediation framework and resources.
* Review & approval of data boarding for new migrations and other system data boarding.
* Support of project initiatives as required in capacity of Data Integrity, Product and general mortgage business experience.
* Support of Mars Capital Remediation initiatives as required.
* Manage both internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent analytical and negotiating skills with stakeholders, partners & clients.
* Collaborate closely with other teams and stakeholders to maximize effectiveness.
Qualifications
* Experience in a management position with a structured lending provider with accountabilities for Secured Product Management.
* Knowledge of structured lending system requirements.
* Knowledge of structured lending customer requirements.
* Confident and articulate verbal and written communicator, good interpersonal skills.
* Relationship management is essential.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market, mortgage business requirements, regulatory requirements including CCMA, CPC, MARP and how these impact on relevant processes.
* Sound judgement, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
* Numeracy and excel skills.
* Self-starter, confidence to assume responsibility and initiative.
