Reporting to the Facilities and Utilities Manager, the Project Engineer will carry out projects in conformity with the needs expressed by the initiator and ensure optimum conditions of quality, cost, time and safety, while respecting registration files, legislation, regulations and internal procedures. Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to: Conception, organisation, carry out of studies and implementation of Production, Engineering or site projects as assigned by the Facilities and Utilities Manager Lead and support the project team subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure communication flow with your team, colleagues and external contractors. Supervise project work. Implement, maintain, and continually improve all aspects of the Company's energy management system. Negotiate the best price for each service with providers, while ensuring the quality of service required is achieved and maintained. Support the mission and objectives of the Technical Department. Carry out data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for our energy management and utilities. Support the maintenance teams with troubleshooting and refurbishments. Monitor the service performance and budget according to each agreement. Ensure positive working relations with all service providers. Keep up to date with health, safety and environmental legislation and developments and engineering methods and endeavour to familiarise yourself with their application within the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate must have a third level qualification in Engineering with a minimum of 1-2 years project management experience. Industry pharmaceutical experience would be an advantage. Strong I.T. skills and proficiency in CAD are essential for this role. The Project Engineer will be expected to be a strong communicator, proactive and be able to demonstrate flexibility in mindset and approach. They must have proven experience of project management from conception to conclusion. This role will also require the successful candidate to be a problem solver, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment by multi-tasking, meeting tight deadlines and communicating across multiple teams effectively.
