Responsibilities
:
1. Createprehensive test plans with well-defined, reusable test cases from business requirements and functional specification documents.
2. Execute software testing to include functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
3. Create and maintain automated test script libraries for functional regression testing.
4. Document software defects in an issues tracking system and proactivelymunicate issues with developers and other project team members.
5. Participate in business requirements and functional specifications reviews early in the software development lifecycle process.
6. Manage scheduling to ensure efficient and effective product testing; identify and report risks to project schedule and product quality and propose new methods to control and/or mitigate risks.
7. Participate in daily standup to report progress status to Scrum Lead and project team members.
8. Provide testing leadership for the projects assigned to.
Requirements:
9. Successful candidate should have 5+ years experience in software testing in a process driven and fast-paced environment, 10+ years overall IT experience. Recent experience must include hands-on testing.
10. Extensive experience in creating test cases, scripts, use of automated test tools, testing client/server applications.
11. Strong ability to translate business requirements to technical testing solutions.
12. Extensive experience in full cycle testing including functional testing, system testing, integration testing, performance, and stress testing.
13. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
14. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
15. Strong written and verbalmunication skills.
16. Strong partnership and relationship building skills.
17. Experience with financial software testing is preferred.
18. Experience in knowledge of industry standard best practices as related to software testing.
19. Experience in all phases of software application design, development and testing.
