Job Description:
Accounts Receivable Clerk
We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. This role is perfect for someone looking for stability and the opportunity to grow within a small business.
Duties:
* Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
* Update the cashbook daily and perform bank reconciliations
* Prepare bank lodgements and direct debit files
* Issue invoices, credit notes, and customer statements
* Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer balances
* Resolve discrepancies and reconcile customer accounts
* Maintain records of all payment and credit communications
* Set up new customers and maintain the customer master file
* Assist with month-end closing procedures
* Provide flexible support with other duties as required
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as an Accounts Assistant or Sales Ledger Assistant
* Strong accounts administration experience
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* The ability to meet deadlines consistently
* A strong team-working ability
