Job Description
Your new role as a Maintenance HVAC technician will be part of a maintenance team made up of electrical and mechanical technicians, working together to ensure the smooth operation of commercial Mechanical HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
* Carrying out small to medium-sized electrical repairs and installations.
* Upgrading fans, motors, pumps to more energy-efficient systems.
* Routine checks on all systems, including electrical systems, Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Systems, Building Management Systems.
* Self-perform maintenance tasks on the contract through the CMMS system, including F-Gas implementation, pressure vessel record keeping, and HVAC maintenance.
* Planned Preventative Maintenance of all commercial Mechanical HVAC systems, including large-scale LPHW & CHW systems, AHUs, FCUs & F-Gas systems.
* Reactive maintenance, including response to management and closure of tickets through the online ticket system and reactive maintenance as assigned by the Facilities Coordinator.
* Maintenance records are kept to a comprehensive standard, and all reactive Work Order paperwork is completed.
* Ability to plan and carry out works to achieve an efficient & speedy resolution to reactive maintenance issues that arise.
* Assist with supervision of contractors on site to ensure works carried out safely and in line with relevant standards.
* Ensure Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
* Contacting suppliers to source and order materials is required.
Role Requirements
* Certification in electrical refrigeration.
* F-gas trade certification.
* Flexible to work some weekends/evenings.
Preferred/Desirable
* Experience in PPMs on all HVAC plant.
* Knowledge in fault finding & control wiring.
Working Pattern
Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:30
Friday, 08:00-15:30
