Job Overview
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate between customers, logistics partners and our operations team to ensure prompt and correct movement of samples. Reporting to the Stability Lead you will receive ongoing coaching and training.
Responsibilities
4. Communicating with customers about the delivery and return of their samples while ensuring all samples are delivered within the agreed timeframe
5. Planning and coordinating the most effective transport and delivery schedules
6. Taking responsibility for vehicle planning and allocation of the fleet to locations
7. Working closely with the operations team to ensure correct and prompt movement of customer samples
8. Reviewing and managing customer shipping requirements and import/export documentation
9. Interpreting customs regulations and ensuring compliance for international imports/exports
10. Communicating with customs authorities and brokers in relation to customs clearance
11. Managing transport records as per our quality management system
12. Managing relationships with 3rd party transport providers and evaluating performance
13. Signing off and confirming logistics/transportation invoices
14. Utilising data analysis to identify logistics cost saving initiatives
Qualifications/Skills
15. Experience working to standard operating procedures in a regulated environment (this is desirable and not essential)
16. Experience managing customs documentation with a strong knowledge of customs procedures
17. Experience managing relationships with external logistics partners
18. An organised and methodical approach to work
Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 2 + years’ work experience in similar logistics or supply chain role with:
19. Experience working to standard operating procedures in a regulated environment (this is desirable and not essential)
20. Experience managing customs documentation with a strong knowledge of customs procedures
21. Experience managing relationships with external logistics partners
22. An organised and methodical approach to work
23. You must have a good attention to detail with:
24. Advanced level Microsoft Word and Excel skills with the ability to produce graphs and reports
25. A good work ethic and be willing to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
26. A positive attitude to work and a willingness to take ownership of projects
27. This is a full-time, permanent position
28. Hours are am to 5 pm Monday – Friday, with some requirement to work outside of these hours.

distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, and observe color changes.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to moving
mechanical parts, high precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is
usually quiet. The employee may be required to gain access to lab, manufacturing or clinical areas
for inspections or work discussions. The employee is required to wear the appropriate personal
protective equipment to perform the job duties. Such personal protective equipment may include
but is not limited to: safety eyewear, various types of respirators/breathing apparatus, lab coats,
gloves, etc.
