Project Quantity Surveyor
We are working with one of Ireland's leading contractors to fill a Project Quantity Surveyor position in Carrigtwohill, Cork.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the cost management of fit-out projects, including new production buildings, admin offices, and cleanrooms, on large-scale industrial projects worth €300m. Our client is currently managing €13m in programmer costs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day commercial and contract activities, including contract administration, change management, and maintenance of associated registers.
* Negotiate and obtain best value with placement of subcontract orders.
* Participate in the management of project budgets, cost plans, and feasibility studies as appropriate.
* Validate and approve sub-contractors' interim applications and final submissions.
* Prepare accurate monthly Cost Value Reports for review and presentation to stakeholders.
* Maintain a productive relationship with design team professionals and client representatives throughout the project.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying & Construction Economics or equivalent recognized by SCSI/RICS.
* 3-5 years of quantity surveying experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge of various forms of construction contracts (RIAI, FIDIC, JCT, etc.).
* Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
* Ability to critically evaluate documentation and identify commercial opportunities.

Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
