Established in 2018 and based in Ennis Co. Clare, Fitzgerald Electrical have grown quickly to become leaders in the Solar PV and commercial electrical installation industries in Ireland.
We have multiple ongoing sites across Ireland and Sweden and are currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a site in Sweden.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate within a cohesive team to successfully deliver multiple projects, fostering a strong "one team" culture.
* Ensure strict compliance with on-site Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability policies and standards.
* Promote a proactive approach to Health and Safety among the team.
* Engage with clients, client representatives, and third-party agencies to ensure seamless project coordination.
* Provide an exceptional client experience with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
* Collaborate with civil/building engineers and process teams to ensure smooth project integration.
* Conduct regular site inspections, lead toolbox talks, and facilitate whiteboard meetings to maintain safety standards.
* Implement Lean Construction and Last Planner techniques for effective project management.
* Monitor project progress, managing risks while seizing opportunities for improvement.
* Report weekly on project performance to the framework manager, covering programme, budget, and HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental) metrics.
* Manage project cashflow, including timely submission of interim payment applications.
* Mentor and develop your team, creating clear development plans for growth.
* Participate in resource management and recruitment as a hiring manager.
* Assist with tendering for new projects when required.
* Address client and stakeholder concerns promptly, gathering feedback to drive continuous improvement.
* Share lessons learned and suggest innovative approaches to enhance future project outcomes.
* Stay current with industry standards and technologies through continuous professional development (CPD).
* Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the water and wastewater sector.
* Experience in Electrical Engineering tasks, including but not limited to:
* LV control and power distribution systems.
* Ability to review and analyze electrical design drawings, including panel schematics.
* Development of electrical design/work packages for subcontractors.
* Proficiency in Trimble Design Products (Amtech) and Autodesk products is desirable.
* Knowledge of various motor starter designs, including VSDs and Intelligent Starters.
* Relevant Electrical/Electronics Engineering qualification.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet project objectives.
* Strong collaborative skills for working with clients and their representatives to develop design solutions.
* Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, with experience in creating baseline programmes and updates.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative during project execution.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
* Strong communication skills and high motivation.
* Full, valid driving license.
