We have just started an exclusive search for one of our long-standing clients. They are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help drive innovation and support the growth of a fast-paced company. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in managing IT systems, automating processes, and ensuring best practices in network security and governance. This position requires strong expertise in DevOps, system engineering, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and optimize IT infrastructure and operations to meet business needs.
* Lead the adoption of DevOps practices, containerization, and CI/CD.
* Oversee hardware/software procurement, asset management, and IT compliance.
* Maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools (e.g., Nagios, New Relic).
* Troubleshoot network issues, including SSL and firewall problems.
* Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software in a dynamic environment.
* Automate system tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby).
Qualifications:
* 7+ years in DevOps or system engineering roles.
* Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
* Detailed experience with Azure Cloud.
* Proficient in Linux Engineering.
* Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics).
* Familiar with CI/CD, Scrum/Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Certifications (preferred but not required):
* Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
* Red Hat (RHCSA/RHCE)

* Proven ability to manage projects and priorities effectively.
