Job Description:
An Energy Engineering position has opened up with a semi-state business in the Limerick area.
Purpose:
The role involves delivering a Professional Energy Management Service to stakeholders and supporting technical and project management services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. A high level of knowledge and experience in Energy Management, Energy Systems, and renewable Energy.
2. Design and construction expertise in line with NZEB requirements and Energy Efficient Design (EED) management on construction projects.
3. Dynamic thermal analysis and applications to new and existing buildings for Part L compliance, energy analysis, daylight, and overheating analysis.
4. Knowledge of building construction, building services, and maintenance requirements.
5. Understanding of Climate Action Plan and Sustainability principles.
6. Familiarity with healthcare environments, including residential buildings, hospitals, and health facilities.
7. Working knowledge of legislation and technical guidance in estates areas, including building, planning, health, and safety regulations.
8. Knowledge of internationally accepted standards for healthcare building design and maintenance.
9. Experience with option appraisal procedures, brief writing, and building user consultation, cost estimation, and control, hospital design, healthcare project management, and procurement processes.
10. Project management skills, including managing and delivering projects through BIM in accordance with PAS AS 1192 and ISO 19650.
