Senior Accountant - Pharma Role

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee end-to-end month and quarter procedures for EMEA entities, including revenue accounting and operating expense journal entry reviews, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Collaborate with an outsourced provider to guarantee complete and accurate performance of month and quarter tasks.
3. Partner closely with local and global Finance colleagues to stay abreast of market developments and determine suitable accounting treatments, while adhering to global deadlines.
4. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP accounting principles, maintaining high standards of financial reporting.
5. Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and promptly resolve reconciling items, ensuring a timely closure of accounts.
6. Support statutory audits for assigned entities, working closely with the Associate Director Statutory Reporting Coordinator to close out audit processes and review local GAAP financial statements.
7. Participate in year-end integrated audit efforts, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA) designation
2. Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution
3. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
4. Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable
5. Proficiency in SAP, Blackline, and Qlik systems is advantageous
