Due to ongoing and future growth across Briggs Equipment and the wider Briggs Group in Ireland, were looking for a Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a critical and high-profile role that will play a key part in supporting and shaping the financial direction of the business. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance function. Lead and support the finance team, promoting accuracy, efficiency, and high engagement. Manage all financial transactions up to trial balance, including oversight of Accounts Payable and Credit Control. Ensure robust financial and system controls are in place and reviewed regularly. Oversee daily cash management and prepare weekly and quarterly cash flow forecasts for Group reporting. Prepare monthly management accounts, including journal entries, analysis, KPIs, and reporting to Group for consolidation. Lead the preparation of the annual budget, along with regular profit & loss and balance sheet forecasts. Producing the annual budget for the business along with monthly and quarterly profit and loss and balance sheet forecasts. Support Group Finance with submissions, including VAT, tax filings, and other government reporting such as national statistics. What youll bring: Extensive experience in financial accounting, from transaction processing to management accounts. A qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or a highly experienced accountant qualified by experience. Strong proficiency in Excel. In-depth knowledge of finance systems, controls, and accounting principles. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Proven experience working in a fast-paced finance environment with team leadership responsibilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
