Job Description
ICT Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking an ICT Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT Department reporting to the IT Manager. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day activities to support and monitor the operation of the Site Information and Communication systems infrastructure.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure any changes to IT systems are implemented in compliance with site Change Control Procedures and Security Standards.
2. Work with Managed Service Partners, Vendors, and site stakeholders to manage the lifecycle of Site IT Infrastructure, ensuring infrastructure remains reliable and fit for purpose in supporting site operations.
3. Act as site point of contact and hands and eyes for initial troubleshooting of issues with the remote Support teams of our 3rd Party Service Partners for Server Hosting, Network, and Print Services.
4. Manage site IT cabling, patching, and wall port infrastructure (Fibre, LAN). Engage and liaise with 3rd Party vendors for diagnostics, repairs, installation of new cables, wall ports/panels, etc.
5. Monitor and support site communications systems, triage issues, and liaise with Support Vendors as necessary to resolve.
6. Monitor and support A/V equipment in 12 Conference Rooms, including Flatscreen TVs, Projectors, cameras, audio equipment, and touch panels used in Teams Rooms.
7. Monitor System Backups. Liaise with Hosting Provider to address any issues, raise tickets/incidents as necessary.
8. Adhere to GAMP Guidelines, cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, internal and external audit requirements, and SK company policies relating to Computer System Validation, Data Integrity, and IT Security.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a degree level qualification in a relevant IT, engineering, or similar technical discipline and have a minimum of 3 years experience of IT system support. Experience of working in a GMP regulated environment is desirable.
A good working knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, Server Virtualisation, and communication systems is expected. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate good problem-solving techniques regarding fault finding and troubleshooting system-related issues and must have strong communication skills.
The ability to operate within and consistently achieve deadlines associated with a highly automated 24/7 Manufacturing facility is key.
