Our client, one of Europe’s leading innovators in Retail & Hospitality technology, seeks to hire an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of the project management team that helps deliver a wide variety of technical projects of varying scope and complexity. This role will have an initial focus on managing the delivery of an exciting new cloud-based product.
Key Responsibilities
1. Defining and driving projects across all stages of the project life cycle.
2. Working closely with all identified stakeholders and software development teams to gather requirements, plan, track, and deliver quality projects in accordance with the organization’s project management standards.
3. Collaborate with product owners, business teams, and customers to define the project/product vision and then align upcoming team priorities.
4. Lead and facilitate mixed project teams across the company.
5. Engage with external stakeholders for large scale system rollouts and upgrades.
6. Providing effective communications to Senior leadership on the project status.
Requirements
1. Experienced in the main aspects of project delivery including business stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, scope definition, scheduling, communications, quality, risk analysis, and resource management.
2. Experienced and familiar with all stages of Software Development Lifecycles.
3. Familiar with project management frameworks like the PMBOK and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
4. PM Certification (PMP or Scrum Master desirable but not essential).
5. Exposure and experience in Cloud Computing, Azure environments, DevOps, and CI/CD would be advantageous.
6. Business knowledge and an understanding of IT systems in the Retail and Hospitality industry would be beneficial.
7. A flexible, adaptable mindset with a “can do, hands-on” attitude and approach would be required.
8. At least 3 years of Project Management experience with a proven track record of project delivery.
