Drive Sales and Marketing Excellence at the Malthouse Café
About the Role
We seek a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales and marketing function within the business. Reporting directly to the Malthouse Café Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive Sales and Marketing plan to meet commercial targets.
Key Duties Include:
1. Create and execute a sales and marketing strategy to achieve agreed commercial targets.
2. Manage all sales and marketing activities in collaboration with Irish Distillers.
3. Support Aramark Ireland head office sales and marketing team on business development initiatives as required.
4. Nurture relationships with key stakeholders to secure new business opportunities.
5. Lead and develop a successful sales team to drive business growth.
6. Provide regular financial and activity-based sales reports to the Malthouse Café Manager.
7. Foster excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including Irish Distillers, Aramark Ireland, clients, and trade partners.
8. Promote a professional image of Malthouse Café and Aramark Ireland both internally and externally.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
1. A minimum of 7 years' experience in the tourism/hospitality industry, with 3 years at a management level.
2. Degree-level qualification in business or hospitality-related discipline (an advantage).
3. Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and measure innovative online, offline, and public relations strategies to deliver business results.
4. Commercial awareness, with a proven ability to develop new business, increase revenue, and maximise yield performance.
5. Previous Sales Management experience working with a high-quality, globally recognised brand.
6. Ability to share passion for the business with clients, communicate a vision, and build meaningful, long-term relationships.
7. Flexibility to travel as required.
8. A passion for food, excellence in customer service, and willingness to challenge to drive improvements across all areas of the business.
9. In-depth knowledge of the MICE markets, both nationally and internationally, to drive success for Malthouse Café, Midleton Distillery Experience.
10. Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
11. Excellent planning and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.
12. Competence in developing budgets, delivering accurate monthly sales forecasts, and managing costs.
