Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our Euronics Department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and electronics, excellent communication skills, and a drive to provide exceptional customer service. As a key team member, you will help customers find the right products, offer expert advice, and ensure a smooth shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with product inquiries, offering tailored advice on various electrical products (e.g., home appliances, gadgets, and electronics).
* Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the products and stay updated on the latest trends, new arrivals, and promotions in the electrical goods sector.
* Sales Support: Actively engage with customers to promote sales, up-sell or cross-sell related products, and meet or exceed sales targets.
* Stock Management: Assist with inventory control, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented and merchandised attractively.
* Technical Assistance: Offer basic troubleshooting or technical advice on product use and specifications, as well as support customers with setup or product queries.
* Transactions: Handle payments and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently while following cash handling and transactional procedures.
* After-Sales Service: Provide support with returns, exchanges, and warranty inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and smooth daily operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience: Previous experience in a retail sales role, preferably within an electrical or technology environment.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain technical details clearly to customers.
* Sales Acumen: Proactive sales approach with a target-driven mindset.
* Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical products, their features, and functionality. Training will be provided, but a passion for technology is essential.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to assist customers with troubleshooting and basic technical issues.
* Customer Focus: A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
* Teamwork: Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and holidays. Note: We do not open Sundays.
