Key Responsibilities:
Own month-end and quarter-end close tasks over commissions, including journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial reporting.
Manage compensation plan administration, maintaining employee and plan data within our commissions management platform.
Validate data used in earnings calculations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure commission payments and reporting align with company policies and incentive structures.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with senior finance, operations, and sales leadership to design and adjust incentive programs.
Provide clear communication with stakeholders, resolving disputes and clarifying commission structures as needed.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency of the sales compensation program.
Requirements:
Experience:
* Sales Compensation experience in business operations, process management, and finance operations.
* Management or supervisory role experience.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Skills:
* Proficiency in commission management software (e.g., Xactly, Varicent), Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
* Commissions accounting experience.
* Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
* Accounting / Finance experience within a publicly traded company.
* Commission management software implementations experience.
