Shop Manager - (Permanent Full Time)
Salary range: €35236.50 Per annum
Experience: 3 Years in customer facing retail environment
The Role:
We are currently looking to recruit a Retail Shop Manager for our well-established busy close-knit shop based at Donegal Town, Donegal. This is a great opportunity for an experienced retailer, with energy and flair to work with an organisation that makes a difference in the community.
This is an exciting time to work in Charity Retail, where we have a strong focus on contributing to a sustainable circular economy and help people in need using donated preloved clothing, furniture and bric-a-brac.
We are looking for a creative, self-motivated individual who is customer and people centric, who will work closely with the Regional Retail Manager & the local conference along with the current team which are made up of volunteers and community scheme workers with a goal to optimise sales so we can better serve the community.
Should you be successful you will be part of a great team made up of ten shops in the Northwest region and a network of over 230 shops nationwide.
The ideal candidate will have solid retail experience and a proven track record in achieving targets by setting high standards.

Candidate Requirements:
Education
* Minimum Leaving Certificate level or equivalent.
Experience
* At least 3 years in a customer facing retail environment.
* Experience of managing / working with a diverse team of people.
* Experience of independent working and also working as part of a team.
* Experience of providing and analyzing sales reports.
Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in individual and group situations.
* An ability to establish and foster excellent working relationships with many different people across different functions and locations.
* Competent in IT packages - Excel, Word, EPOS, Microsoft 365.
* A positive outlook with resilience and persistence in the face of barriers and setbacks.
* An ability to display empathy, patience and a well-developed sense of humor.
