Job Title: Bid Manager
Blackfox Solutions are delighted to be working with a leading multi-utility and civil engineering contractor seeking a Bid Manager to join its growing pre-construction team.

Operating across the UK, Ireland, and Europe for over 30 years, the company specialises in Utilities (Power/Telecoms), EV Infrastructure, and Civil Engineering, delivering high-quality turnkey solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, reviewing, and managing contracts and proposals across multiple sectors, including Data/Electrical Network Build, EV Infrastructure, LV/HV Substation Construction, and Civil Engineering.
* Conduct daily searches for new tender opportunities.
* Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
* Collaborate with Business Development to identify and pursue potential leads.
* Research clients and industry sectors to tailor bid responses effectively.
* Analyse tender documents and highlight areas requiring further clarification.
* Gather and compile relevant data to support bid submissions.
* Develop case studies to strengthen proposals.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
* Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Proven experience in bid writing within the construction/infrastructure industry.
* Strong ability to communicate, negotiate, and build relationships with stakeholders.
* Highly organised with strong time management and ability to work to deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
