Job Description
The Global Supply Chain for IDEM, Infectious Diseases Emerging Market, Business Unit is a complex network of Manufacturing sites, centralised services, and corporate headquarters.
We manage the demand and supply of Lateral Flow Diagnostic Tests for Covid 19, HIV, Malaria, Hepatitis C, Flu, and Tropical diseases, supporting a rapidly expanding business unit within Abbott.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop and lead Global Supply Chain Analytics team strategy in integration, access, and sharing of strategic information using advanced data management techniques.
2. Define and implement IDEM Global inventory management strategy, aligning with overall Supply Chain strategy, and drive inventory optimization and management.
3. Own raw material planning and execution, including standardization and improvement of systems, processes, and reporting.
4. Define division KPIs for Inventory, material operations, and analytics, maintaining consistency across all locations.
5. Material operations - Proactively identify potential business issues and supply constraints, develop risk mitigations plans, and act as point of escalation.
6. Break down complex projects or issues and present them in a digestible format.
7. Accountable for executing relevant business processes with significant impact on supply chain success.
8. Interface with senior management on significant matters, requiring coordination across organizational units.
9. Ensure accurate data reporting and improve reporting processes to drive meaningful discussion.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering/science discipline, supply chain, math, business, finance operations management, or business administration.
* 8+ years of experience in operations or supply chain, preferably in medical device business or highly regulated industry.
* Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
* Clear experience working in diverse cultural environment.
* Thorough knowledge of operations, procurement, supply chain, and project-related activities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience processing data and visualization of data.
* Paperless leadership experience, demonstrated ability to coach and mentor.
