Vacancy exists for full-time temporary Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) role in Ailesbury
Ailesbury is a community respite house in Dundrum providing support to 75 adults. No more than five individuals at a time are supported during their breaks to engage in community-based activities. Staff provide for a variety of nursing, social and emotional support needs.
Applications are invited for this position from suitably qualified candidates. This role requires a strong ability to lead a team and to problem solve and work on own initiative.
Essential Criteria-CNM1:
1. Have a RNID qualification and be presently registered and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Other Nursing disciplines with a minimum of 3 years Staff Nurse experience in the area of intellectual disability may apply.
2. Have at least 3 years Staff Nurse experience in the area of intellectual disabilities.
3. Have at least 6 months in the area of staff support, taking the lead in teams, resource management, and administration duties.
4. Be knowledgeable of Health Act 2007 and have experience and understanding of HIQA Regulations (2013).
5. As a nurse manager within St Michaels House, be committed to the provision of a quality individualised service and to the principles of working in partnership with service users.
6. Possess a working knowledge of the Safeguarding Policy.
7. Possess a strong commitment to the provision of a quality individualised person-centred service.
8. Be committed to working as part of a team.
9. Possess experience in key-working.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Recognised management qualification desirable.
2. Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
Salary Scale: Successful candidates will be paid in line with HSE revised consolidated HSE Clinical Nurse Manager 1 Scale.
